Music plays in the background in the auditorium, as the models strut the stage with glamour. Many students participated in this show displaying all types of styles and clothing. The designers created numerous designs in all styles. In the fashion show, there were preppy and pink pieces and even styled edgy and emo pieces. All of these styles brought together such an amazing, worthwhile show.
Senior fashion designer Jaden Cao walked the stage in a beautiful black outfit, a black short skirt with a black tube top and a red cropped blazer over top. He walked down the runway in drag as if his confidence beamed through the audience. Cao strutted the runway and posed at every angle. “Gimme More ” by Britney Spears played in the background as he modeled for the crowd. Cao wore an enchanting edgy style. He grabbed everyone’s attention with the song choice and style. It was an amazing view from the audience’s perspective. Senior Sophia Gonzalez modeled one of Cao’s designs. Gonzalez wore a two-piece black set, the shirt was black and flowy styled with a black midi skirt that hung around with a hot pink fabric accent piece around the waist.
Senior fashion designer Carina Kenefick did her catwalk in a beautiful pink combo. The ensemble made her look just like Princess Peach with the cute pink gloves. Kenefick wore her long curly hair in space buns with a half up half down style. The pink and white glittery skirt paired with a pink v-neck with bows on the shoulders gave such a beautiful bright aesthetic. It looks like a spring-summer outfit. She came to both sides of the stage and posed blowing a kiss to the crowd. Junior Marla Simmons was also dressed by Kenefick. She wore a light pastel pink v-neck with a denim skirt and pastel pink Converse to match. The outfit looked stunning on the model. Simmons added small details that helped make the outfit even better, she wore a pink headband, a pearl necklace and pearl bracelets. These tiny touches enhanced the detail of the pale pink outline of the v-neck.
Senior fashion designer Lilly Slagle wore a long white satin dress paired with a white boa and white long lace gloves. It complimented her blonde hair styled in an updo bun. She let out a beautiful smile at the end of the runway and stopped to pose for the crowd. Slagle grasped the audience’s attention with her stage presence and she looked effortlessly stunning. Slagle twirled to show off every inch of the satin dress. The whole audience was in awe of her. In the back, there was a bow that perfectly fit her aesthetic angelically.
Senior fashion designer Nabeeha Ali wore multiple different shades of pink. When she walked down the catwalk all the shades came together beautifully and created a sensational illusion. Ali even matched her hijab with her outfit to make a beautiful sight. The light pastel pinks and the flamingo pink with a salmon-like color matched in all different variations delicately complemented her beauty.
Senior fashion designer Daisy Estrada dressed in a short purple midi dress paired with black tights and shoes. Her midi dress featured a few light lavender shades added with purple and mauve colors which helped add dimension to her outfit. The sheer black tights created a subtle change in the whole design. It complimented the dress and her appearance gave the viewers a beautiful show. Estrada kept her short black hair down on her shoulders and it matched very nicely with her short, simple black heels.
Senior fashion designer Laura Munoz-Sarabia put on a shimmery gold dress and paired the dress with nude high heels. The detail on her gold dress shined into the audience and she walked with confidence. While the music played in the background, it was easy to see how it made Munoz-Sarabia more confident in the way she walked. She smiled as she showed both sides of the audience her lovely gold dress. As she walked in her heels, it was clear how beautiful she felt in the dress she designed.
Senior fashion designer Carmen Thompson walked the stage in a black and purple combo. Thompson wore a purple multi-colored skirt with a black t-shirt and some black Doc Martens. Her light blonde curly hair added such an admirable detail to her whole design. Her smile beamed towards the audience and it was clear how happy she was showing off all of her hard work.
Seeing all the senior fashion designers’ hard work was a bittersweet moment. All of the models that also walked the stage in their designs looked beautiful and ecstatic in their outfits. They selected these designers and chose the perfect models to wear them down the aisle. It was an amazing show and all the music that was played in the background added a vibe that brought everyone in the crowd together. Everyone who participated in the fashion show did an amazing job and it was a delightful show to attend.
