Back At It

Week eight Fantasy lineup

We are back ladies and gentlemen. It has been a great year so far in the NFL. My lineup did not do so hot last week, which was very upsetting, but you have to keep pushing through in pursuit of the perfect eight players and one defense. Week eight is right around the corner, and this is my lineup.

Quarterback: Carson Wentz– Wentz hasn’t shown any signs of a sophomore slump and continues week after week to put up big numbers. Against division rivals, the Washington Redskins, he had a total of 32 points with four passing touchdowns. I don’t think the 49ers defense will slow him down.

Running back 1: Mark Ingram– Even though he’s in a pass heavy offense, Ingram rushed 47 times these past two weeks for 219 yards, while getting into the end zone three times as well. The Bears are decent against the run, but the Saints passing game should open up room for him.

RB 2: Lamar Miller– The Houston Texans running back hasn’t put up huge numbers, but he has been consistent and that can be huge for one-day fantasy leagues. We all know Seattle has that amazing defense, so Miller needs to have a nice game to take the pressure off rookie quarterback Deshaun Watson.

Wide Receiver 1: Mohamed Sanu– Sanu is heavily targeted by Matt Ryan this year, and that’s why I really like him this week. I think he will have a breakout game against a young Jets secondary. I’m looking forward to watching him and see how productive he is.

WR 2: Nelson Agholor– I also really like this wideout against a terrible 49ers team. If he gets targeted, it will most likely be a catch. He has three touchdowns in three straight games, and I think he will continue the streak while also having over 100 yards receiving.

WR 3: Kelvin Benjamin– This guy is huge, and now that he is close to 100 percent, I think he will go back to being that big play guy for Cam Newton. Tampa Bay is the worst team in the NFL against WRs as well.

Tight End: Jared Cook– Coming off a huge week against Kansas City accumulating six receptions for 107-yard and being targeted at least five times in every game this season, he has huge upside.

Flex: Brandin Cooks– Cooks and Brady have had great chemistry since he joined in the offseason, and the speedy receiver will be looking for those huge plays against the chargers.

Defense/Special Teams: Dallas Cowboys- The Cowboys are by no mean close to being an elite defense, but I feel like after the dominant performance against the 49ers, it gave them a lot of confidence heading into this huge NFC East matchup.
