Akie Kasai, Reporter
Akie Kasai is a senior and first-time reporter for the Panther Prints staff this year. She’s also the co-editor and cover designer of the Synecdoche of Scrawls, the school’s literary magazine.
Akie wants to challenge herself by stepping foot into the world of journalism and exploring new writing styles. She’s excited to write interesting articles for the diverse student body during her last year of high school. Though quiet at times, she’s open to new experiences and learning new things.
Akie desires to become a technical writer in order to combine her newly found interest in coding and her passion for writing. Outside of school, you can find her volunteering at the Plano Public Libraries and listening to music.
