Isis Martin is a senior and reporter on the newspaper staff this school year. Ever since Isis was a little girl, she loved influencing others opinions through her writing. Isis believes that the best pieces of journalism are the ones that you can relate to, which led to her decision to join newspaper. She is excited to write stories and editorials about the wellness of teenagers; she’s also looking forward to broadcasting on the East Side Update.  In her free time, you may catch her in the student section representing the east side pride or in the library studying. After high school, Isis plans on attending a four-year university to major in business management or marketing. Through newspaper, Isis hopes to improve her writing skills, and she feels very honored to represent the class of 2020 through the newspaper.
