Hello, my name is Joey Erickson, I am a senior, and this year will be my second year on the newspaper staff. I am very excited to be a part of another great group and cannot wait to see what we produce. I will be a Co-Sports Editor along with my friend, Jacob, where we hope to bring everyone the most factual and timely sports news from professional teams and, of course, the hometown Panthers. I grew up involved in sports at a young age, beginning with hockey, but now my biggest passion is baseball. I am also on the baseball team, which is where I spend most of my time. My plans for after high school are to attend college and pursue a degree in mass communications in hopes of being a play-by-play man for sports broadcasting. I enjoy watching sports and Netflix as well, while also doing broadcasts at home for the Ranger games in my free time. I am looking forward to another fantastic year!
