Melanie is a senior at Plano East, and this is her first year with Panther Prints. Outside of newspaper, Melanie is a member of NHS, plays saxophone in the school band, and has a part-time job. Ever since she was seven years old, she’s had a passion for writing, and she always finds the time to jot down even a few lines. In her free time, she enjoys reading, writing, hanging out with her sister Julie, and cuddling her cat. Melanie can take initiative and hopes to hone her ability to organize real-world information into engaging articles and stories. She’s ready to leave her mark on the team!
